I use my own OpenID, because I'd prefer not to be dependent on a particular provider. (Of course, my website just delegates to somewhere else, with a single line in the section.)

For some reason, climatedeal.org has disabled login using arbitrary OpenIDs. (It's enabled by default in the StackExchange software -- I help run another such site, so I know how this works.) This makes me sad! Is there a reason for this? Could you restore the URL field, perhaps below the icons for the "big" providers?

I was wondering if you can somehow delete your own answer. I tried do delete one of my own answers, but i managed only to cast one vote to delete it. It seems strange, did I miss something. I can understand that you cannot singlehanded delete other peoples answers and questions, but you should be able to remove your owns, with one click.
